Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for two Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) to join the AnDY Research Clinic Team in Oxfordshire. The roles deliver high-volume, low-intensity CBT-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety and depression, across community bases and clinics.

One vacancy is full-time and the other is part-time on a fixed-term maternity cover.

Qualifications

• Qualification from CWP Training course (Post Graduate Certificate in CYP IAPT Low Intensity Psychological Therapies)
• Experience of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties in the community
• Access to a vehicle or ability to travel to service locations
• Demonstrable IT competency

Responsibilities

• Undertake mental health assessments of children and young people, involving families where required
• Provide one-to-one, CBT-informed low-intensity interventions to children and families, remotely and face-to-face
• Collaborate with schools, social care and other agencies as required
• Support research contributions within the AnDY Clinic
