Remedy Social Work is recruiting on behalf of Worcestershire County Council for a Children's Social Work Team Manager to lead the Family Front Door service. You will manage a team, ensure safeguarding, and coordinate with partner agencies to deliver effective outcomes for children and families.

The role requires strategic oversight, staff development, and robust performance monitoring, with safeguarding and DBS requirements typical for this level of responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising children’s social care teams and safeguarding.
• Knowledge of statutory child protection procedures.

Responsabilités

• Lead the team to achieve challenging and realistic plans and objectives.
• Recruit and develop staff safeguarding children and young people.
• Exercise delegated decision making to safeguard children and maintain staff confidence.
• Monitor team performance data and address concerns about quality or quantity of work.
• Promote relationships with service users, families and carers to build trust in services.
• Maintain effective relationships with partner organisations to support service delivery.
• Manage budgets to meet the assessed needs of children and young people.
• Commit to personal and staff development and training.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and equality of opportunity.
