Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Children’s Team Manager for the North Court & Locality Team in Manchester. You will lead a team of social workers, oversee case management, and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and families within the community.

The role requires a recognised social work qualification (DipSW or BA Hons in Social Work) and registration with Social Work England, plus extensive children’s social work experience and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with registration with Social Work England.
• Significant experience in children's social work, including management.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing a team of social workers, providing guidance and support.
• Developing and implementing service plans for children and families.
• Conducting regular supervision and performance reviews.
