Job summary

Progressive Care in the United Kingdom seeks a determined Team Leader (Children’s Services) to supervise daily operations in a safe, nurturing setting for young people aged 12–17. You will lead by example, support staff development, and ensure high-quality care while guiding the team through shifts, including days, nights, and sleep-ins.

The role emphasizes leadership development, staff mentoring, and a clear pathway to senior leadership roles within a nationally recognised provider.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Willingness to work towards a management qualification.
  • Awareness of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
  • Experience supporting or mentoring others in a team setting.
  • Passion for improving outcomes for young people.
  • Strong communication, empathy and emotional awareness.
  • Calm, resilient approach in challenging situations.

Your Roleas a Team Leader (Children’s Services)

Requirements
Our IdealCandidate Will Have
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
