Active Assistance seeks a Female Children’s Support Worker to help a 12-year-old girl with complex health needs at home and in the community in Rochdale. The role is part-time with a flexible rota, and requires a full UK driving licence and a compassionate, reliable approach.

You will assist hydrotherapy, cooking, and daily activities, and transport the client using a mobility van. Training is provided; hourly pay up to £14 plus holiday pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Female applicants only due to genuine occupational requirement.
• Full UK driving licence; must be age 21+ to drive client’s mobility van.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the client in her family home and in the community.
• Assist with hydrotherapy sessions, outings, and cooking activities.

She needs a kind, committed support worker to help her live life to the fullest, while staying safe, happy, and engaged.What You’ll Be Doing:Supporting our client in her family home and in the communityAssisting with activities such as hydrotherapy, outings, and fun cooking sessionsHelping with personal care and following clinical care routinesDriving the client’s mobility van (must hold a full UK licence and be 21+)Your Working Hours:Alternate Thursdays: 7:30am–8:45am and 3pm–7pmEvery Friday: 7:30am–8:45am and 3pm–7pmAlternate Saturdays: 11am-4.15pmIn this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance.
