Job summary

Hollybank Trust is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Brambles and Orchard Court Children's services in Mirfield. You will provide high-quality, child-centred care during night shifts, ensuring safety, comfort and routine for children with learning and physical disabilities and complex needs.

The role offers full or part-time hours in a supportive team, with comprehensive induction, ongoing training and opportunities for career progression within a values-driven organisation.

Qualifications

  • Previous care experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
  • Enhanced DBS check and reference checks are required by our safeguarding policy.

Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support.
  • Promoting children's safety, wellbeing and comfort throughout the night.
  • Supporting individual care needs and routines.
  • Completing observations and maintaining accurate records.
  • Responding calmly and confidently to children's needs.
  • Working closely with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality care.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in ensuring children have a safe, comfortable and restful night.

Your responsibilities will include:
