Job Role: Residential Support Worker / RSW

TeacherActive is working with a children’s residential provider in Carmarthen to recruit a Residential Support Worker / RSW. The facility houses 4 children and young people aged 11–18 with diagnoses including EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties), SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health), or complex trauma needs.

The provider emphasizes a child-focused ethos, prioritizing safety, security, consistency, and respect for children’s wishes.

Key Requirements:

1. Experience with therapeutic models such as P.A.C.E.
2. Level 3 Children and Young Peoples Workforce qualification or willingness to obtain it.
3. Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours or trauma.
4. Flexibility with shifts.
