Job summary

Paragon Social Care is seeking compassionate Children’s Support Workers to help young people in local authority care. You will provide trauma-informed care, build trusting relationships, support education and life skills, and assist with meals and healthy lifestyles.

Role requires a full UK driving licence and willingness to work waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins. NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care is desirable, with training and potential progression offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience with children or young people (paid or volunteering)
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own car
  • Patience, empathy and emotional resilience
  • Flexibility to work waking nights, weekends and sleep-ins
  • A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care is desirable but not essential

What We’re Looking For
