Job summary

Paragon Social Care is hiring compassionate Children’s Support Workers to provide trauma-informed care and build stable routines for young people in local authority care.

You will support education, life skills, independence, meals, and attend medical appointments, with travel using your own vehicle when required. A DBS check is required or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people (paid or voluntary).
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car
• Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience
• Flexibility to work waking nights, weekends, and sleep‑ins
• A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

A relevant qualification (such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care) is desirable but not essential — we’ll support the right people to grow.

• £17.50ph - £24.00ph PAYE Rate (including holiday pay)
