Job summary

Paragon Social Care is seeking compassionate Children's Support Workers to make a difference in the lives of young people in local authority care. You will provide trauma-informed care, build trusting relationships, support education and life skills, and help shape brighter futures.

Requirements include experience with children or young people, a driving licence with access to a car, and flexibility for shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary).
  • Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience.
  • Flexibility to work waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
  • A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential.

What We're Looking For

  • A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

A relevant qualification (such as NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care) is desirable but not essential - we'll support the right people to grow.

  • £17.50ph - £24.00ph PAYE Rate (including holiday pay)
