You do need a full driving license and access to your own vehicle to work as a Children’s Support Worker with us. This is because all our clients live in their own homes in the community.
About the Role
We’re supporting a young person who loves Disney Junior, listening to music on her Tonie box, and getting out and about in her wheelchair. She has an existing care team and this is a 2:1 support package that continues outside of school hours, including occasional waking nights to support the wider rota. You’ll be supporting with:
This Children’s Support Worker role is ideal for someone who has experience with epilepsy, PEG feeding (training provided), visual impairments, and emotional regulation support. You’ll need to be empathetic, reliable, and confident managing routines in a calm environment. If you’ve worked as a Children’s Support Worker before, especially with children who have complex needs, this role will feel familiar and incredibly rewarding.
