About the Service

Arosfa Disability Service provides short breaks and long-term residential support to children and young people with disabilities or additional needs. We pride ourselves on providing a home-from-home experience, ensuring peace of mind for parents while their children enjoy a sleepover, and that our staff have fun too!

If you enjoy engaging with young people and helping them reach their full potential, join our team.

About the role

This entry-level role requires no prior experience or qualifications. We seek a positive attitude and a desire to provide the best care. It’s a great opportunity to explore social care, gain practical experience, and decide if it’s right for you.

You will create a safe, supportive environment, prioritise wellbeing, deliver personalised care, guidance, and advocacy, and ensure safety and health to help young people reach their full potential.

In return, we offer opportunities for progression, a comprehensive induction, training, and support to obtain industry qualifications. Regular supervision and team meetings will help you feel part of our team.

With experience and qualifications, you can progress further in your career with us.

How you'll help to create brighter futures

You will engage in activities within the project and community, support personal care, daily routines, communication, medication administration, and safeguarding through accurate recording and reporting.

Personality and values matter more than experience. If you're passionate about creating brighter futures, this could be the perfect role for you.

Ideally, you will:

  • Understand how to engage with young people
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
