Barnardo's is seeking a Children's Services Manager to support Unaccompanied and Asylum-seeking Children (UASC) throughout their asylum journey in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will hold a social work qualification and will have a track record in child protection, financial management, and leading teams to drive best practices within children's services. The Independent Guardian Service exists to provide specialist knowledge, advice and support to safeguard and promote the welfare of child victims or potential victims of human trafficking and/or those who have been unaccompanied or separated.
Independent Guardians are skilled practitioners who are qualified to support and assist Unaccompanied and Asylum-seeking children (UASC) through their asylum journey within Northern Ireland.
The service is seeking to recruit a Children's Services Manager to join our vibrant and skilled team. You will help to ensure the continuation of high quality work and the promotion of rights for Unaccompanied and Asylum seeking Children (UASC) across Northern Ireland.

In return Barnardo's offers a reward package that includes a competitive salary, 26 days annual leave and 10 statutory/public holidays (pro-rata) per annum, a contributory pension scheme, an additional holiday purchase scheme and staff discounts.
Location: Belmont Road, Belfast
This is a regional service and at times there is the expectation that the post holder will have to travel to fulfill the role.
Salary: £42,016 - £53,176.50
Hours: 37
