Wilderness Way in Penrith seeks a Children's Residential Support Worker to help vulnerable children thrive in a safe, nurturing home. You’ll build trust, support education, health and wellbeing, and foster independence through trauma-informed practice.

Senior roles may include mentoring colleagues. We offer structured induction, funded Level 3 Diploma, enhanced leave, pension, healthcare benefits and a clear path to progression. You’ll need energy, empathy and a positive, resilient attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or vulnerable individuals, in care, education or youth work.
• Willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification.
• Be 21 or over due to requirements within children's residential care.
• Have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship not offered.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable driving for the role.
