Job summary

Confidential is currently recruiting experienced Support Workers for a children’s residential setting in Waltham Abbey. You will provide care and support to young people, promoting independence and well-being while contributing to care plans and safeguarding standards.

Role requires NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent) and prior experience with children in residential settings. Sleep-ins are paid at £50, with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent) essential.
• Experience with working with children with EBD needs.
• Previous experience working in a children's residential setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
• Promote independence, well-being, and positive outcomes.
• Support daily routines, activities, and educational needs.
• Contribute to care plans and ensure safeguarding standards are met.
• Work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins (£50 per sleep-in allowance).
