Confidential in Waltham Abbey, Essex, is recruiting three male Residential Support Workers for a Children's Learning Disability Home. You will provide day-to-day care, emotional support, and help young people build routine, confidence and independence.

Applicants should have at least 12 months’ experience in an Ofsted-registered children's home, Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, and be willing to work a flexible rota including sleep-ins. Salary £13.50 per hour plus £60 sleep-in.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in an Ofsted-registered children's residential home.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to complete.
• Experience in de-escalation and positive behaviour support.
• The right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not available.
• Willingness to work a flexible rota including sleep-ins.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day care, guidance and emotional support to build routine, confidence and independence.
• Act as a positive male role model using de-escalation and relationship-based approaches to support behaviour that challenges.
• Support personal care, health needs and medication per care plans.
• Keep young people safe following safeguarding procedures and risk assessments.
• Support education, health appointments, activities and family contact.
• Keep accurate daily logs and incident reports to Ofsted standards.
• Work closely with the Registered Manager, social workers, schools and professionals.
