Job summary

Esland in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Residential Support Worker to provide nurturing, therapeutic care for young people in our Station House home. You will help with daily living skills, social activities and support access to personalised education plans.

The role involves safeguarding, background checks, and adherence to Safer Recruitment practices. Full UK driving licence, right to work in the UK, and a 21+ age requirement apply. Training and career progression are offered.

Qualifications

Compensation: £32,242 - £32,865 / year

Description

Salary

£32,242.00 to £35,745.00 per annum. (including 6 - 10 sleeps per month paid at £60 per sleep and an hourly rate of £13.45 to £13.75 per hour (depending on qualification)). Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Hours

173 hours per month - shift pattern is 1 days on, 2 days off, with sleep in’s. Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.

Our team supports them with all of their domestic needs and socialisation skills while learning new things and experiencing fun activities and excursions together. We can offer educational places in our schools where our young people can engage in a more personalised education plan to help them turn the curve and reach their full potential.
