Job summary

The Esland Group Ltd is seeking a Children's Residential Support Worker at our Stoke-on-Trent home to provide nurturing, therapeutic care for looked-after children within a 365-day service, supporting their daily routines, personal development, and social skills.

Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Station House - Stoke-on-Trent

Reporting To: Home Manager

Compensation: £32,242 - £32,865 / year

Description

Salary: £32,242.00 to £35,745.00 per annum. (including 6 - 10 sleeps per month paid at £60 per sleep and an hourly rate of £13.45 to £13.75 per hour (depending on qualification). Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Hours: 173 hours per month - shift pattern is 1 days on, 2 days off, with sleep in’s. Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.

Essential requirements for a Children's Residential Support Worker:

• A full driving licence issued in the UK
• Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
• Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
• Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
• Previous childcare or support worker experience is advantageous but not essential
