Job Title: Children’s Residential Support Worker
Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Salary: £29,040 per annum based on 10 shifts (including sleeps) per month with overtime available and the opportunity to potentially earn up to £32,544 per annum.

At Prosperity Children’s Service, we provide care for vulnerable children and young people across the Lancashire and Greater Manchester area. Our children and young people receive support from a small team of incredible Registered Managers and Support Workers who strive to engage, motivate, and instill confidence and life skills aiming for the best possible outcomes for them.
Due to expansion, we now have a few additional vacancies in our new residential homes.
Your key responsibilities as the Residential Support Worker:
We have a few exciting opportunities for Residential Support Workers to join our team within our brand-new, beautifully furnished homes in the Great Manchester area. Our homes within the Greater Manchester are registered to accommodate between 1-4 children aged between 6-18 who have suffered trauma, child sexual exploitation and may be present emotional and behavioural difficulties.
As the Residential Support Worker, you will be working with our Outstanding Managers and will support your team with the overall running of the homes, care team and children in line with OFSTED legislation. You will be assisting in the promotion of good childcare practices in accordance with Prosperity Children’s Service Policies and Procedures. A key component of the role will be day-to-day support of the children in our care including household duties, cooking, shopping, laundry and adhering to safeguarding protocols in the home. The role is to ensure that all children receive appropriate care and education as required in their individualised care plans.
