Job summary

Nurture Nest Homes is seeking a passionate, child-centred Registered Manager to lead the development and registration of a new children's residential home. You will shape the service culture, recruit and develop the team, and ensure a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

The role requires meeting Ofsted registration requirements, deputy manager experience, and a commitment to trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Applicants must meet Ofsted registration requirements for Registered Manager.
• Strong deputy manager with substantial experience ready to step up.
• Experienced Deputy Managers welcome to apply if they show the required competence and suitability for registration.
• Level 5 completed desirable but will accept those completing currently.
• Experience setting up a new home desirable.
• Passionate about therapeutic trauma-informed care for children.
• Supervising and managing residential childcare staff and leadership experience.
• Knowledge and experience of quality standards, audits and Ofsted inspections.

Salary: £45,000- 50,000 depending on experience [Bonus to be discussed also depending on experience]

Contract: Permanent, full-time

We are preparing to launch a new children's residential home and are looking for a passionate, motivated and child-centred Registered Manager to lead the development and registration of our service.
