Additional Resources is seeking a Children's Residential Care Worker to join a dedicated team supporting children and young people with emotional, behavioural and complex needs. The role is full-time (approx.

40 hours per week) with sleep-in shifts and a basic salary £28,230-£29,270, with realistic total earnings up to £37,550 including sleep-ins. You will build trusting relationships, contribute to care plans, maintain safeguarding, and work with families and professionals to provide

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people, helping them feel safe, valued and supported.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people and support their development.
• Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties using a patient and compassionate approach.
• Contribute to individual care plans, risk assessments and daily records, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Encourage independence, participation in education, hobbies, social activities and community life.
• Work closely with colleagues, families and external professionals to ensure appropriate support.
