Esland Group’s Oakwood Home in Derby is seeking a Children’s Residential Care Worker to support looked-after children in a Good-rated Ofsted setting. You’ll provide high-quality care, build relationships, and help young people thrive in a 365-day service with rotating shifts and sleep-ins.

Applicants need a Full UK Driving Licence, be 21+, and have childcare or care-sector experience. The role offers a £34,402–£35,025 yearly salary plus opportunities to earn more through overtime and shifts.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Earn

• Annual salary: £34,402 – £35,025 (based on £13.45–£13.75 + 8 sleep-ins/month; dependent on qualifications) (Pay rate effective from 1st April 2026)
• Opportunity for additional earnings through enhanced overtime and extra shifts
