Job summary

Wilderness Way is seeking a Registered Manager for two Ofsted-registered children's homes. You will lead a 2:1 relationship-based care model, oversee staff rotas and ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

You will be supported by an operational manager and HR/recruitment teams to drive high-quality care. Your background includes at least 2 years in children's residential care or related fields, a Level 5 qualification, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in children’s residential care, social work, or secure care within the last 5 years.
• Level 5 qualification and ongoing development supported by the employer.
• UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage two Ofsted-registered solo homes with individual registrations.
• Lead a 2:1 relationship-based care model to support children.
• Implement set shifts and a full year rota for staff.
• Provide leadership with HR, recruitment and safeguarding support to deliver high quality care.
