Job summary
Portman Recruitment seeks a Registered Manager to lead a children's residential service in Derbyshire, delivering high-quality care and ensuring compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards. You will oversee a committed team, develop care plans, and drive outcomes for young people.

Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Childcare is required.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards it is required.
- At least two years' experience working within a residential childcare setting is required.
- Strong knowledge of children's home legislation, Ofsted regulations and quality standards is required.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop and inspire teams is essential.

As a Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading your service and ensuring exceptional outcomes for young people.

The successful candidate will have:
- Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Childcare.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards achieving it).
- At least two years' experience working within a residential childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of children's home legislation, Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
- Experience completing risk assessments and producing clear, professional reports.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop and inspire teams.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with complex needs.
- Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
- A proactive, flexible and solution-focused approach.
