Job summary

Custom Links Care is seeking a compassionate Children’s Outreach Support Worker to join our Lewisham team and surrounding areas. You will provide individualised support to children and young people aged 0–18, helping them feel safe, included and encouraged to reach their goals.

No previous experience is necessary as full training and ongoing development are provided. We offer flexible full-time and part-time shifts, weekly pay and a supportive team to help you grow in this role.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and compassionate.
• Reliable, responsible and committed.
• Good communicators who work well as part of a team.
• Confident, proactive and willing to learn.
• No previous experience required – full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing emotional and behavioural support tailored to each child’s needs.
• Supporting daily routines and encouraging positive habits.
• Helping children take part in school-related activities and community outings.
• Encouraging confidence, independence and the development of life skills.
• Building positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Working collaboratively with families and colleagues to provide consistent support.
• Promoting each child’s wellbeing, inclusion and personal development.
