Airedale NHS Foundation Trust in Bradford is seeking band 5 paediatric nurses or soon-to-qualify students to join our enthusiastic department and provide high quality paediatric care.
The post includes full-time fixed term contracts until 31 March 2027 and 31 July 2027, with opportunities to develop through our practice educator and preceptorship programme, supported by staff who embrace our Right Care values.

Following significant investment in our paediatric nurse staffing we are delighted to confirm that our newly agreed work force model aligns to RCN staffing recommendations for CYP including supernumerary nurse in charge.
This will enable you to be supported in practice and help you to provide quality care to your patients. You will also be supported to develop your knowledge and skills in providing acute paediatric care through our dedicated paediatric practice educator and preceptorship programme. Our workforce model will also flex to meet demands of the service over winter and summer by increasing the number of staff who can take annual leave over the summer months (March to September).
The post will involve nursing children on elective day case lists, acute inpatient admissions as well as children in our assessment area.
