Job summary

Qualifications

Registered children's Nurse with UK registration.
Degree or working towards (desirable).
Experience in a multi-disciplinary team.
Acute paediatric experience (desirable).
Knowledge of NHS Constitution and Understanding the New NHS.
Understanding confidentiality principles.
Understanding safeguarding children principles.

Responsibilities

Assess patients' needs, plan, implement and evaluate care.
Maintain contemporaneous, accurate documentation.
Work within national, regional and local guidelines relating to nursing practice.
Maintain existing clinical expertise and develop new skills.
Participate in a programme of formal clinical supervision.
Be a role model for junior staff.
