Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is recruiting a Residential Registered Manager for a four-bed children's home in Slyne, Lancaster. The role leads care delivery for children aged 8-18 with SEBD, guiding staff and ensuring safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

The position offers a £50,000 basic salary, with potential to £55,000 through bonuses, plus a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children (or equivalent) is required.
• Leadership and Management qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and familiarity with children's homes regulations.
• Experience leading staff teams and making decisions.
• Commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the home and care delivery.
• Lead, develop and supervise staff, ensuring safeguarding and child-centred practice.
• Maintain compliance with Ofsted and relevant regulations.
• Manage risk assessments, care plans and multi-agency working.
• Drive continuous improvement and create a safe, nurturing environment.
