Office Angels are seeking a Registered Manager to lead a brand-new children’s home in Newton Abbot. You will shape culture and standards from day one, ensuring safeguarding and outstanding care.
You’ll build and guide a team of about 12 residential carers, engage with social services, and drive service development to deliver positive outcomes for children in care.
Location: Newton Abbot, Devon
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum DOE
Hours: Permanent - Full-time, 9.00am to 5.00pm with flexibility around the needs of the home
Opportunity to earn a bonus on top of basic salary, 33 days annual leave, standard pension contribution and on‑call allowance (TBC)

Our client is opening a brand‑new children's home in Newton Abbot and is looking to appoint an experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to lead the service from the very beginning.
This is an exciting opportunity to join at the start of a new venture and have genuine input into the development of the home, supporting with the setup, establishing high standards of care and creating a positive environment for children in care and staff.
As the first person to join the service, you will have the autonomy and support to shape the home's culture, values and processes, ensuring safeguarding, compliance and outstanding care are embedded from the outset.
Applications will also be considered from qualified Social Workers who have experience working within a management role and are currently working towards their Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
