CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking a committed Deputy Manager for a well-presented children's home in Histon, Cambridge area. You will work closely with a Registered Manager to create a safe, nurturing and trauma-informed environment where children feel valued and able to thrive.

The role involves mentoring staff, monitoring KPIs, safeguarding, budgeting, and collaboration with external agencies. It is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with a salary of £40,000–£45,000 per annum, paid

Qualifikationen

• Ofsted Regulations knowledge (SCCIF), Safeguarding and Quality Standards are preferred.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is required.
• Level 5 Leadership & Management is desirable and fully supported if not yet achieved.
• Confident, calm, child-centred leader who can motivate teams.
• Experience with rotas and basic budget awareness.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Children's Home Deputy Manager to work in an exceptional home for the children based in Histon, Cambridge area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers

You will play a key role in shaping the culture and daily life of a well-presented children’s home, working closely with an experienced Registered Manager to create a safe, nurturing and trauma-informed environment where children feel valued, supported and able to thrive

As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Provide mentorship and support to staff members to ensure high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor and evaluate team performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Ensure the safety principles are adhered to at all times, promoting a safe environment for both staff and children
• Support in budgeting and financial management of the home, ensuring resources are used efficientlyDevelop and implement care plans tailored to individual children’s needs, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being
• Collaborate with external agencies, stakeholders, and families to provide holistic care for children
• Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge within the team
• Assist in conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices
• Lead by example, promoting a positive and inclusive culture within the home

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Strong understanding of Ofsted Regulations (SCCIF), Safeguarding and Quality Standards as well as previous experience working in a children's home setting or similar
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Level 5 Leadership & Management (desirable – fully supported if not yet achieved)
• A confident, calm and child-centred leader who can support and motivate teams
• Experience with rotas and basic budget awareness
• Full UK driving licence

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum - Pay frequency is monthly. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week from 9am-5pm. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
