Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a committed Deputy Home Manager for a residential children's care home in the Kingston upon Hull area. You will work under the Registered Manager to lead the home, support the care team, and promote positive behaviour and safeguarding standards.

This role is permanent full-time, 36-48 hours per week, with day and night shifts. A rewarding position offering training, career progression, and generous benefits as described.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role and setting.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and care practice.
• Ability to lead and support a care team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager in leading and managing the home.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the care team.
• Promote positive behaviour support strategies.
• Manage incidents safely and effectively.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and care practice.
• Support care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour management plans.
• Build relationships with the child, staff team, and external professionals.
• Ensure the home meets regulatory and quality standards.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Home Manager for a residential children's care home in the Kingston upon Hull area. You will be working for one of UK's leading children's healthcare providers

As a Deputy Home Manager your key duties include:

• Support the Registered Manager in leading and managing the home
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the care team

• Support care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour management plans
• Build positive relationships with the child, staff team, and external professionals

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care + experience working in a similar role and setting

The successful Deputy Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £29,952 - £39,936 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 36-48 hours a week on days & nights. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
