Job summary

Superior Healthcare is seeking experienced Complex Care Assistants to support a 2 year old girl at home overnight. Complex paediatric experience is essential.

This role offers a fixed rota with overtime and the chance to work as part of a dedicated team in the local community. We provide full classroom-based training on joining, paid induction shifts, and ongoing supervision from our nurses and supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Previous care experience involving personal care.
  • Full UK manual driving license.
  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Show the client dignity and respect at all times.
  • Follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager for person-centred care.
  • Advocate for the client in line with Superior Healthcare policies.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for experienced complex care assistants to care for a 2 year old female overnight who lives at home with her family. Complex Paediatric experience is essential.

Superior Healthcare provides round-the-clock care packages to support people living with long-term health conditions to live in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you join our complex care team and will work long-term with one or a small number of clients. You will benefit from a fixed rota with the option of overtime.

We are ideally looking for carers, support workers and healthcare assistants who are keen to work full‑time hours however part‑time roles are offered.

How we’ll support you:

Superior Healthcare will provide full, paid classroom‑based training when you join us and paid induction shifts and ongoing supervision support from our in‑house team of nurses and supervisors.

If a client’s needs mean that you require extra skills (for example, if they need assistance to meet their nutritional requirements), we will provide paid, specialist training to ensure that you, as a community care assistant, can confidently support their needs and develop your own skills.

Shifts

Friday, Saturday, Sunday (22:00-07:00)

Healthcare Assistant Requirements:

  • Previous care experience involving personal care.
  • A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
  • A minimum commitment of 2x shifts a week.

  • To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person‑centred care is provided.
  • To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
  • To be fun, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
  • To closely observe and monitor the client and keep thorough documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months care experience
  • Experience supporting paediatric clients
  • Full UK manual driving license.
  • Right to work in the UK
