Job summary

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Community Nurse to join our Children’s Community Learning Disability and Behaviour Support Service in North Cumbria. You will deliver a high-quality service for children with learning disabilities and autism, aligned to Positive Behaviour Support, across multiple settings.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with service users and carers in successful delivery of treatment plans.
• Complete preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses.
• Multi-disciplinary team work.
• Proven ability to develop therapeutic partnership with service users and carers.
• Proven ability to communicate interventions to service users.
• Further relevant post qualifying training.
• Previous experience in a community setting.
• Experience of involving service users/ carers in evaluation/planning and monitoring of services.
• Experience of working with children and young people.
