Job summary

Routes Healthcare is expanding its specialist Paediatric Complex Care Team in Sunderland and across the North East, seeking experienced care professionals to support children and young people with complex healthcare needs.

You will provide specialist one-to-one and two-to-one care, including suctioning, airway management, and clinical observations, to promote independence and quality of life. Mileage is paid for travel across the region.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Compassionate, reliable and professional approach.
• Previous paediatric care experience.
• Tracheostomy, suctioning or ventilation experience.
• Spinal injury or neurological care experience.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and two-to-one care for children and young people with complex healthcare needs.
• Travel across the North East region; mileage paid.
• Support clients with suctioning and airway management and clinical observations.

Location:Sunderland

Pay: £15.68 per hour (including holiday pay)

Fully funded Enhanced DBS

Shifts: Various shifts available, including 6-hour, 8-hour and 12-hour day and night shifts. Weekend availability required , guaranteed hours available after successful

Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

About the Role

Routes Healthcare is expanding its specialist Paediatric Complex Care Team and is looking for experienced care professionals to support children and young people with complex healthcare needs across the North East.

• Complex personal care
• Neurological and spinal injury support
• Clinical observations and monitoring
• Promoting independence, wellbeing and quality of life

Travel across the region is required, with mileage paid.
