Job summary

Enable is seeking compassionate Childcare Practitioners to join our Roslin House respite service in Stevenson, North Ayrshire. You will support children and young people aged 5-18 with complex needs to enjoy safe, meaningful short breaks, building confidence and independence through activities and personal support.

No two days are the same: you might help with community outings, communication, personal care or sensory activities, while working within a values-led team dedicated to improving

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dedicated to supporting children and young people.
• Ability to engage in meaningful activities and promote wellbeing.
• Willingness to work day shifts across spread of hours.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people to enjoy meaningful activities and short breaks.
• Assist with communication, personal care, and sensory activities as needed.
• Help young people access the community and celebrate achievements.

Shifts between 7.30am and 9.30pm

Roslin House is a state of the art 8 bedded respite service that supports children and young people ages 5 - 18 with additional support needs to enjoy short stays.At Roslin House, we provide short breaks and specialist support for children and young people with complex additional support needs. Every stay is an opportunity to create positive experiences, build confidence, promote independence and provide families with trusted support.

We're looking for compassionate, motivated and values-led Childcare Practitioners who are passionate about making a difference. You'll support children and young people to enjoy meaningful activities, achieve personal outcomes, build relationships and experience fun, safe and memorable short breaks.

No two days are the same. One moment you may be supporting a young person to access the community, the next you may be helping with communication, personal care, sensory activities or celebrating an achievement they have accomplished.
