Job summary

Progressive Sports seeks a Part-time Lead to run our Progressive Kids wraparound childcare at Dunstall Park Primary, Tamworth. You will inspire children, lead sports and arts activities, and support Activity Leaders to deliver high-quality sessions.

You will foster strong relationships with parents and schools, follow Ofsted standards, and create safe, engaging environments during term-time with the option for additional holiday hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in wraparound childcare is desirable but not essential as on-the-job training is provided.
• Inspiring children through sports and arts and crafts activities.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with parents, schools and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the wraparound setting and lead engaging activities.
• Manage and support Activity Leaders to deliver high-quality sessions.
• Promote safeguarding and ensure a safe, engaging environment for all children.
• Develop strong partnerships with parents and schools and adhere to Ofsted standards.
• Encourage children’s interests and support their confidence and social development.

Job description

Location:Dunstall Park Primary School, Austen Drive,Tamworth B78 3BQ

Hours: 18 hours per week Normally 7:30am-8:40am & 3:15pm-6pm, term time (with the option to enhance your earnings working up to 40 hrs per week overtime during School Holidays)

Pay: 13.50 - 14.50 Per Hour

Contracts Available: Term-time only, Part-time, annual, no weekends.

Requiered: Level 3 Early Years Qualification
