Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Banana Moon Day Nursery

Shoots Training is currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join Banana Moon Day Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team at a fantastic setting.

Your duties and responsibilities would include:

• Providing support to the leadership team
• Being a Key Person
• Supporting other key team members
• Attending to all aspects of personal care, including nappy changing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, and assisting during meal and snack times
• Focusing on in-the-moment planning to be more hands-on with children and spend more quality time with them
• Daily tasks such as setting up the room, tidying away, carrying out risk assessments, completing observations, and liaising with parents

Requirements:

• Level 2 Childcare Qualification is preferred
• You must be able to obtain a clear DBS check
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent, are preferred

Hours:

• Banana Moon Day Nursery is open from 07:30 to 18:30, Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed
