Intelligent Care North East Ltd is seeking a compassionate Child Support Worker to provide care for children across various settings. The role involves assisting with daily routines, implementing care plans, and supporting emotional development in a team environment.

The position offers a variable hours contract, with a pay rate of £18.33 per hour, and requires a valid driving licence for transportation duties. Location: County Durham, UK, with in-person work expectations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Assist with daily routines including feeding, dressing, and activities suited to the child’s age and needs.
• Develop and implement personalised care plans with families and professionals.
• Support children’s emotional development through engaging activities and positive interaction.
• Maintain records of children’s progress, behaviour and incidents per policy.
• Facilitate communication between children, families and other professionals.
• Drive children to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
• Promote inclusive play and learning experiences that encourage socialisation and skills development.
