Nationwide Care Services Ltd in Birmingham (Northfield area) is seeking a Support Worker to join the Children Team. You will assist children in activities during weekdays and weekends, helping them access parks, cinema and arts and crafts.
This role requires a driver with own vehicle, willingness to work with both male and female service users, and a commitment to professional care; a thorough training programme and DBS clearance are provided.

Playing an integral role as a Support Worker, the main purpose of the role of a Care & Support Worker on the Children Team is to assist children in activities planned during the weekedays and weekends. You will be assisting the child to the local parks, cinema and other arts and crafts activities.
To support vulnerable persons within home environment with appropriate care and support. Working closely with NOC and wider team at Nationwide Care Services.This Support Work varies throughout the week; you can work on weekends mainly however during weekends.The individual may either then enter the main care stream or be re-assessed for differing needs.It should be clearly understood that the role requires a great deal, sometimes both in physical and emotional ways, and also carries a weight of responsibility equally it can be very emotionally rewarding.
A thorough training programme is mandatory for every individual who joins Nationwide Care. This constitutes both initial and ongoing training and is a requirement of all staff. Every member of staff will be required to apply for, and achieve, a satisfactory Disclosure Certificate (DBS) and successfully complete initial training.
