Job summary

Teesside Mind Ltd is seeking a trainee within CYP IAPT to deliver brief, outcome-focused interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health issues. The post includes university-based study days and service delivery 3 days a week, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates effective communication in verbal and written form.
• Experience of working with children and young people is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties under supervision.
• Manage waiting lists and prioritisation with signposting.
• Collaborate with families, social workers and other professionals across services.
• Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions with and for the child, young person and family.
