Job summary

The Junction Foundation in the Tees Valley is seeking a trainee practitioner for the CYP IAPT training program. You will deliver brief, outcome-focused interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties under supervision.

Training and service experience will include university-led days with Northumbria University, while working three days a week in the service to apply new skills in practice, in locations including Stockton-on-Tees, Hartlepool and

Qualifications

• Under supervision, provide assessment including risk assessment for children and young people.
• Experience with CYP IAPT and safeguarding procedures.
• Willingness to work flexibly with schools, families and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of brief, evidence-based interventions for children and families.
• Work with social care partners and other professionals in Children, Young People and Family Services.
• Maintain clinical notes in line with Junction policies and procedures.
• Engage in supervision, training days and university requirements.
• Develop treatment plans and measure outcomes with service users.
