Job summary

NHS Jobs in Coventry is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the Children and Young Persons Health team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, patient‑facing pharmaceutical care within the Medicines Management Team across wards and clinics.

You will provide expert medicines advice, contribute to medicines optimisation, and participate in audits and education for patients, carers and staff, supporting safe and timely care for children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide Safe, High Quality, Timely, Patient Facing Clinical Pharmacy Services within the Partnership Trust.
• Participate as active member of ward/unit clinical teams and support medicines management staff.
• Provide expert pharmaceutical and clinical advice on medicines and pharmaceutical matters.
• Develop and participate in education and training sessions for patients/carers and other healthcare staff.
• Support the Medicines Optimisation strategy as part of the Medicines Management Team.
• Participate in local audit work and data collection to support service developments.
