Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the Surrey Children’s Services Team. You will support medicines optimisation, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to governance and safety across community services.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 registration and experience in medicines management. You will work across Surrey with hybrid arrangements, travel to multiple locations, and opportunities for professional development through The Learning Enterprise.

Qualifications

• Registration as a qualified Pharmacy Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medicines legislation and medicines management within community services.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent IT and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote best practice in medicines optimisation across Children's Services.
• Build strong relationships with clinical colleagues and partner organisations.
• Analyse medicines governance data, audits and incidents with recommendations for improvement.
• Produce and present reports on medicines governance and optimisation activities.
• Support the development and implementation of medicines-related SOPs.
• Undertake audits and site visits to strengthen medicines governance.
• Provide medicines-related advice and training to colleagues.
