Job summary

Priora is seeking an experienced translational R&D leader with a cell therapy background to shape the scientific strategy across our research programme and guide the platform from discovery to therapeutic development.

In this senior role you will define the evidence required to advance the platform, set development priorities, mentor multi-disciplinary teams and interact with investors, partners and the board to ensure robust, regulator-ready data.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in translational research, in industry or at the academic/industry interface
• Led at least one IND-enabling or concept-to-IND programme
• Experienced in preclinical development strategy
• Track record of go/no-go and portfolio decision-making
• Direct regulatory experience of IND or CTA submissions
• Lead cross-functional R&D across scientific disciplines and external partners

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D strategy across the research programme and integrated development plan
• Set preclinical development strategy across therapeutic development, PK/PD, biodistribution, safety and toxicology
• Provide scientific leadership and mentorship across bench and computational teams
• Represent the science to investors, partners, advisors and the board
