Job summary

Nucleome Therapeutics Ltd invites a Principal Scientist to lead translational bioanalysis and biomarker strategies for our autoimmune antibody programme. You will guide PK, ADA, PD and exploratory biomarker plans across discovery, preclinical and IND-enabling studies.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive translational dose selection, manage CROs, and set up biomarker labs for future clinical work and IND filings.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in immunology, pharmacology, biology or related discipline.
• Experience developing translational, PK/ADA/PD and exploratory biomarker strategies for biologics in discovery, preclinical and IND-enabling settings.
• Strong understanding of bioanalytical assay development, qualification and validation across platforms.
• Experience managing CROs and bioanalytical vendors with regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated translational biomarker strategies across discovery to IND-enabling studies.
• Partner with pharmacology, toxicology, DMPK, bioanalytical and clinical colleagues for dose selection and decision-making.
• Select, manage and oversee CROs, labs and vendors, including budgets and timelines.
• Perform laboratory work to support assay development and transfer to CROs.
• Translate findings to fit-for-purpose assays for preclinical development.
• Prepare for future clinical biomarker implementation and translational CRO setup.
• Advise team on assay development requirements.
• Represent biomarkers on programme teams and communicate strategy to stakeholders.
