Job summary

Addition is seeking a senior leader to steer social value, inclusion, accessibility and sustainability across the business from its Watford base. You will translate strategy into measurable governance, align budgets and drive accountable delivery with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.

The role offers a high-impact remit, close collaboration with senior leaders, and a path to lasting capability building that delivers value beyond the contract term in a major UK organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience across social value, ESG, sustainability or responsible business.
• Strong commercial acumen linking social priorities to business outcomes.
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers and external partnerships.
• Knowledge of accessibility and disability inclusion across the organisation.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and capability development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the social value strategy and measure impact.
• Embed governance, processes and operating models for social value.
• Partner with senior leaders to shape priorities and balance commercial with social commitments.
• Oversee budgets, suppliers and investment decisions.
• Drive inclusion and accessibility across teams and customer experiences.
• Support the Net Zero roadmap with practical plans and tracking.
• Oversee volunteering, community programmes and measure outcomes.
• Lead social impact reporting, KPIs and governance updates.
• Maintain oversight of modern slavery policies and compliance reporting.
• Build relationships with external partners to strengthen impact.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team to a high-performing culture.
• Establish ownership and knowledge transfer to sustain initiatives after contract.
