Job summary

Humanoid is hiring a Chief Scientist to define the embodied intelligence strategy for its humanoid platforms. You will lead AI for biped robotics, shaping learning approaches and roadmaps that transfer from simulation to real robots.

You’ll guide a diverse team of scientists and engineers, collaborating with product, hardware, and leadership to deliver reliable, scalable capabilities. You will publish and present at conferences while building partnerships across academia and industry to advance

Qualifications

• Strong track record of publications in AI/robotics or deployed systems.
• Deep expertise in robot learning, world models, 3D perception or related fields.
• Experience defining scientific roadmaps and leading programs.
• Experience recruiting and mentoring scientists and engineers.
• Commitment to turning advances into reliable, deployable robots.

Responsibilities

• Define the scientific direction for embodied intelligence with a focus on biped AI.
• Build and mentor a team of scientists and engineers in robot learning and deep learning.
• Evaluate approaches in robot learning, world models, manipulation, 3D perception.
• Develop learning loops from real data to simulation and back to robots.
• Collaborate with AI, engineering and product teams across platforms.
• Set rigorous milestones for generalisation, reliability, and data efficiency.
• Share work through publications and collaborations with partners.
