V.Group is seeking a Chief Officer for Containership to oversee cargo and ballast operations while maintaining ship stability and safety at sea. The role is a contracted, shipboard position with responsibilities across bridge and deck operations.

The officer will lead the deck team, oversee hull and fittings, manage crew accommodations, and ensure environmental protection and lifesaving equipment compliance, reporting for mid-December deployment from the Ukraine office.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute cargo and ballast operations, preserving ship stability and hull integrity.
• Lead the deck department, maintain a safe navigational watch, and respond to emergencies.
• Oversee hull, fittings, crew accommodations, and deck stores, plus maintenance records.
• Act as Ship Security Officer and oversee environmental protection measures, including garbage management.
