About the Role

We are seeking a high-calibre Chief of Staff to support our Board and executive team in a flexible and varied role. This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual, with a management consulting background, to work at the heart of a global business, acting as a bridge across teams and projects.

Key Deliverables & Targets

  1. Strategy & Projects: Lead and support strategic projects for shareholders, including market research, target operating model design, and special project initiatives.
  2. Programme Management: Help run key business cadences and coordinate the yearly investor conference, including shaping our section—a three-month, high-impact project.
  3. Business Operations: Handle tasks that the Board cannot address directly, from leadership recruitment to HR departures and corporate affairs.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior leaders to anticipate challenges, pilot initiatives, and ensure smooth operations.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Earn the trust of diverse stakeholders and act as a confident, objective advisor to the Board.
  6. Output: Deliver high-quality, strategic insights and syntheses from multiple sources, distilling what matters most and crafting compelling narratives.

  2. Expertise: Programme Management, Strategy, Corporate Governance, Operations, and Business Enablement.
  3. No ego: Willingness to tackle any task, big or small, across all business functions.
  4. Discretion: Ability to handle confidential information with care.
  5. Strong Voice: Able to contribute thoughtfully within a high-performing team.
  6. Ambition: A stepping-stone role for someone aiming for progression—aspiring to become a board member, CFO, CEO, or COO within 2 years.
  7. Flexibility: Able to travel at short notice and adapt to new challenges daily.
  8. Personal Circumstances: Best suited for someone at mid-career, with the flexibility to travel and handle a fast-paced, global environment.

Working Style

  1. London-based: 5 days a week in the office.
  2. Global Team: Act as a bridge across the group, working closely with leadership.
  3. Immediate Start: Looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
