Job summary

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion to lead our EDI agenda across the Trust. You will report to the Deputy Director of People and provide strategic leadership, expert advice and assurance to the Trust Board and senior leaders, ensuring we meet statutory responsibilities and deliver meaningful change.

The role focuses on embedding an inclusive culture, delivering key programmes and working with staff networks and system

Qualifications

Significant experience in leading EDI programmes and strategies.
Ability to influence at senior levels and interpret equality legislation.
Track record of delivering measurable improvements in inclusion, workforce experience and organisational culture.
Master's degree or equivalent experience in EDI.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and assurance to the Trust Board and senior leaders.
Lead delivery of key EDI programmes, including the Equality Delivery System, Workforce Race Equality Standard and Workforce Disability Equality Standard.
Collaborate with staff networks, trade unions, community groups and system partners.
Advise on statutory duties and drive meaningful change.
